Cindy Cox Roman, the founder of Worldwide Insights & Trends (WIT) Consulting, is a veteran of some of the country’s most respected communications and strategic research firms. She established WIT Consulting in 2001 as a market research firm serving businesses, government, and nonprofit organizations. Through WIT Consulting, Cindy works with clients to help them know their target audiences, develop effective communications, and spot new areas for growth and innovation. Her area of specialty is understanding the attitudes, needs, and behaviors of older adults.
Examples of WIT Consulting’s clients include the Ad Council, Citymeals-on-Wheels, Duke University, The Heinz Endowments, National Endowment for Financial Education, Posit Science, TIAA-CREF, University of California, Berkeley, and The Wallace Foundation.
Before founding WIT Consulting in 2001, Cindy was a Partner at Yankelovich Partners, where she headed the New York Custom Research practice, serving clients such as Fidelity Investments, PBS and Deloitte Consulting. Prior to joining Yankelovich, Cindy worked for nearly a decade at Young & Rubicam, developing communications strategies for Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson and Kraft, among other clients.
Cynthia serves on the board of HelpAge USA and is the recent board chair of HelpAge International. She is a graduate of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She resides in Washington, D.C.
