Robin Talbert

Robin, a nonprofit management consultant, is a trustee of HelpAge International and Chair of the People Committee. Her expertise includes strategic planning, board development and governance, and organization effectiveness for complex entities. She is a Licensed Consultant with the Standards for Excellence Institute and an Associate Consultant for Maryland Nonprofits.

Formerly president of the AARP Foundation, Robin facilitated our first AARP partnership, raising funds to support older Haiti earthquake victims. Previous board memberships include the Center for Responsible Lending, Living Cities, Legal Counsel for the Elderly, and the Harvard Kennedy School Women’s Leadership Board. She is a member of the D.C. Bar and has served as an attorney with Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation and as a volunteer mediator with the DC Superior Court.

Robin has a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina.
