Susan is responsible for building and overseeing partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations to increase funding opportunities in the U.S.
She developed HelpAge’s first corporate donor partnerships, including projects in Tanzania, Colombia, and Peru with Pfizer, and in China and Korea with MetLife, and has overseen over $5 million in grant applications and supports proposal development for projects in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. With a background in media, marketing, and business development spanning 25 years, Susan has worked in international lending at Chase Manhattan Bank, in publishing at U.S. News & World Report, and in the international non-profit sector.
Susan has a Master of International Relations degree from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mt Holyoke College.
